The Easiest Tomato Soup In The World – Recipe

Here’s the extremely easy tomato soup, probably the simplest you can ever make. No, it’s not some ready-made powder stuff you only need to add to water and heat up.

It’s freshly cooked and delicious, even your kids will like it. Made from only a bare minimum of ingredients, this tomato soup recipe requires very little effort and time. (Basically, a busy dad’s recipe.)

SERVINGS: 2 servings


  • 1 can (15 oz / 300 ml) of tomato sauce
  • 8 oz (150 ml) of water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • A handful of alphabet pasta or vermicelli pasta


  1. In a pot, combine the tomato sauce, water, and salt. Stir to mix everything together.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Once it reaches a boil, reduce the heat to low.
  4. Add the pasta and let the soup simmer for about 10 minutes.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy!


  • a splash of heavy cream or milk
  • pinch of garlic powder / black pepper / oregano / basil
  • 1/4 tablespoon hot chili sauce
